Intensive Healthy Thai Cuisine

This course takes a look at Thai cuisine for health, the fundamental principles of food preparation and nutritious cooking. Students will learn about the Thai raw materials, heat transfer, sanitation, safety, nutrition and food presentation. 

Emphasis will be put on preparing healthy Thai dishes created from the five food groups, knowledge of the nutrition flag, grains, herbs, and spices. 

The students will discuss, prepare and cook various heathy Thai dishes.

Topics include: curry, soup, salad, dips, stir-fried, grilled, steamed and a la carte dishes.
