Half-day Bakery & Pastry

Half Day Bakery & Pastry Course created for enthusiasts, and taught by our experienced chef instructors. Participants will learn a variety of well-known bakery and pastry items such as cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, and breads, completely hands-on with terms and techniques presented throughout the class.

Gluten-free Bakery

This course focuses on gluten-free bakery and pastry for people with Celiac disease or gluten related allergies. Sharing the knowledge and understanding of gluten and gluten-free diet. Students will learn how to apply these principles in their own cooking techniques and to produce healthy and nutritious pastry and bakery products that can be incorporated into their everyday lives. The students will prepare and bake a selection of gluten-free products such as cakes, brownies, biscuits, tarts and breads.

Advance Bakery & Pastry
Intensive Bakery & Pastry

Focused on the fundamentals of pastry and bakery, here, students will grasp basic baking techniques, material handling, learn about heat transfer, sanitation, nutrition, as well as cake decorating. Further, they will gain understanding of the principles involved in managing a bakery operation, learn about cost control, the labour laws and regulations, basic expense records and the different types of marketing strategies used to promote a bakery. Upon completion students will be able to plan, discuss, and prepare a variety of cakes and baked goods, suitable for a bakery display counter.
